Hi, Softimage adds the whatever imported fbx objects under a new Model, rather than directly to the scene root. This interferes with the update animation which needs the imported scene to be exactly the same as what is in Softimage right now (ie. without the Model) I'm guessing this is the problem you are facing.
If you move the previously imported objects to be directly under the scene root, it should work.
