Hi,
I hope this is not too aggravating, but I am trying to get 2011 to
install on opensuse 12.1
I have succeeded with all of the preliminaries but while doing the
install of softimage itself I get an error ( which by the way is not
mentioned in the dialog, only the option to see the log ).
I believe that there is a problem with the installation program setting
the environment variables.
I issued:
su -c ./setup
to install
below is the entire log although I think this part is of particular
importance;

I suspect that there is only an issue with the permissions although I
don't know which permissions to change and what may change back.
