Animate > [Create] > Parameter > Edit Customparamset, and Remove CustomParameter
Basically you mark the parameters you want to add/remove and use the tools iteratively. The better way to handle this is to use self installing custom properties instead of customparamsets so you can use a text editor to edit away as you please.
