their own image.... with full backwards compatibility of course

What puzzles me all this time is that I've worked with M.Petit and Marc
Stevens and they were both great Softimage warriors back then...
I don't know why he's leaving but I secretly hope it was because he realized
he still loved Softimage and feel sorry for what's happening and couldn't
take seeing it be treated like that. Lol!
