I don't think Softimage, or even Maya, can use the Material Library.
The Autodesk Material library is a shared library between Autodesk
products such asAutodesk Inventor, AutoCAD, Revit and 3ds Max.

jpg files in the Med library which look really cool but since material
libraries in SI fit best under a Soft database structure I'm wondering

link to them in Softimage 2013 and I am also wondering what else is in
this Material Library that Softimage can make use of. Or not?
