Yeah, I can think of numerous reasons why there might be a network delay. That 
isn't the question. The question is...why is Soft putting a 5 minute freeze on 
the process of reacquiring the asset? At least that's the way it looks.

Just guess.... some drives (WD drives for one) go to
"sleep" (spin down) when not in use. Some drives
have the ability to switch that "feature" off....some don't

I can access the server,  the drive, and the files on the drive, through 
Windows. Anyone have an idea what gives here? Why the 5 minute wait?
