That is understandable.  I do think that cloud-services such as Gmail,
Google Docs and Dropbox have gained a lot of popularity in a lot of
diverse sectors.  I think that if we can prove that we are reliable,
secure and useful, we can get converts.

You will be able to go back to older versions as we save every single
change and allow you to go back to whatever history you want.

Clara.io will be based on a subscription model like Github and Dropbox
and it will be priced pretty aggressively, starting at $10 a month is
our current idea, although if you do a lot of rendering we will have
to charge more as it costs us a lot more.

We can handle intermittent internet connections as long as the
connection comes back before you close your browser window.  We show
you when the connection is down.

We are not looking for control, seriously we aren't.  We are looking
to make things simple, easy and cost effective.  Really I want to make
life easier for artists and software developers, that is all.
