If it makes you feel better, we pay US$5700+ for Softimage in Japan, and 
US$2000+ for subscription.

Looking for a sketch app, I had a look at Sketchbook Pro.
On the US website it was on sale for $59, but clicking through I ended up at 
the EU side of things.

To my surprise the price went up to € 74,75 / $100,= That's a 70% increase!!
Even with taxes added it doesn't compute on my end.
In this digital (download) time and age, especially with simpler software like 
this, stuff like this should be one price.

Alternatives like Manga Studio, or Artrage don't convert any pricing from 
dollars to euros.
