There is currently a Modo-related promotion of Substance Designer @ http://www.luxology.com/store/compatible/substance/designer/ for $395 USD (normally $590). It's pretty tempting, assuming it's not bound to Modo somehow (which I don't have) and the output images work with Softimage like I'd expect any other images would.
Does anyone have any practical experience with using Substance Designer with Softimage and care to comment or point out alternatives I should consider instead?
