I've got several particle strands which overlap. They are also transparent. When they render the transparency is additive where they overlap. I want to render them as though they were a matte, but still transparent. In other words if I were to render them as 100% opaque white as a pass, then reduce transparency in composite, thats the appearance I want. But I want to do this at render time, not comp. Transparency should not be additive. Is that possible?
And I'm trying to avoid doing this as a pass.
