Well, it's repro in a CentOS 6.2 VM

Too bad there's no sketch command logged, otherwise I'd try running it with the viewports hidden/muted

dont think its the preferences folder. we tried it on 4 separate workstations, but of course will give it a go. but I have no choice on the centos 6.2 install either - it was recently updated from 5.x and was the same bug there as well I think - will check
