I was going to say my next suggestion would be to install Softimage and watch the slideshow as I do remember alligators on those screens with credits painted in the corners. That might be enough info to get what you need via a search.

So I searched google images for "Autodesk Alligator"," Animated Short Film Alligator" and several combination of those .. could not find it so i finally typed this "alligator animation maya short film"... I did not find the image I was looking for BUT for some reason there were a TON of Softimage screen shots... and only a few Maya screen shots.. Google knows whats best...
