Would have loved during those times just to have enough ram to hold a file that
was 4gb! :p

yes, isn't nostalgia just memory with all the bad times forgotten?.. I'll have
to add a pict of my full set of Softimage|3D boxed set manuals (v3.8 I
believe).. fun to look through, turning to a random page
we find gems.." ...For example, calculate the memory required for a 256 x 256
image,......More memory would actually be required because the operating system
takes up about 5 Mbytes of memory....""
Would have loved during those times to be able to load a 4G file...!

Aaaaahhh, the days... I do remember a lot of that material, but on a different
edit. I remember thinking that Softimage had the coolest demo reels ever :-) .
I've actually been giving thought to starting a little "old times" gallery. I
still have some of the old brochures, so I'd scan them and post them, just for
memory's sake. I'll have some time this weekend, so I guess it's good timing.
And I was really happy to see Virtua Fighter in the reel. It was one of my
favorite games EVER. I'm sure Sega recouped a big part of the cost of the game
with my visits to the arcade :-D .
Thanks for posting it!
