Hey folks,

I wanted to pass on some information about JP_Separate.

The other day I discovered that if you try to separate an object while it is
under a Model it will not work as expected. If the object you are separating is
anywhere under a Model, it will separate one object and then quit, resulting in
a termination of the process before the renaming can be done. Apparently I did
not test the hierarchy management under a Model back in the day.

It works fine under scene root or under a transform or null group that is not
part of a Model. If you have any difficulty with this because of a Model
structure you can move the model temporarily to scene root and it will work
fine.

I'll try to have a fix for this in the near future.

Subject: Re: skin lots of cubes

Thanks Steven,
Well I'm going to try getting some 3d prints made and will try both methods.
Your way is quickest, but the files are big if I try and keep sharper detail.
The alternative which I now have working is to break the 3000 cube model into
its individual pieces using Joeys plugin, then Boolean them all back together
using a script supplied by Peter B. This is a much slower method when dealing
with so many cubes, but it works and generates files that are much smaller.
Thanks again for your input.
