Totally agree, Facerobot rig with mocap data is a pretty good solution!

Next example will be more polished and based on a human character using a
Facerobot rig, which I'm more familiar with, so results hopefully will be
much much better, infact in this example there is a lot of "jiggling" going
on, especially on the eyebrows
