The latest Gear_mc release is here : https://github.com/miquelcampos/GEAR_mc/releases/tag/v1.0.15 and it has the pythonlib folders. I have a pile of email with bugs to fix, I would like to make a little upgrade soon, but is always a mater of time. About the .pyc should not be a difference. Also first time you load Gear should generate it in your computer.
