I would actually really really like that, Luc-Eric. We'll be
transitioning to Maya here and we'll need some help translating certain
workflows. For example... set dressing by ICE-scattering instances of
plants everywhere... Stuff like that... Not so much the 'where's the
Inset tool' but more 'how do I translate this workflow/solution....?'

btw, we can host a softimage-to-maya list, but I just think it's a
little early to be doing that.
in my opinion, a lot of people using Softimage also use Maya
occasionally, so it's beneficial to talk about Maya here - even for
the people that won't be doing that transition. This isn't the
'anything but maya' mailing list .

I like this list, but I don't want to piss you great people off with my stupid
Maya questions
Believe me... they will be stupid. Just ask Matt Lowery how annoying I got when
he taught me Soft.
So I'll wait for the outcome of this informal poll
so far 2 of us likes the idea of the [OTMAYA] tag :)

Ok, I think you should definitely ask your questions on the Maya forum
of cgtalk, this is where everyone is. The maya team also
participates.
There will be plenty of people experienced with XSI that can help you,
and... also of students and other people of all skill levels.
