It is truly criminal what Autodesk has done--maybe not to the letter of the
law, but flagrantly reprehensible none the less--, but it would be a waste
and a shame to have this community unravel because of the insectoid
behavior and venomous act of a soulless entity.

This is much more than an email list...its a community of amazingly
talented people; veterans with positive can-do attitudes. And though there
are those of us who must deal with Maya and rage against its limitations
and workflow, It is both broadening and inspiring to read all the Fabric &
Houdini & Modo & C4D & Blender information. Plus, those of us who use Maya
in our pipeline will need to prop it up with other packages to make up for
what Softimage could do; it is barely good enough OOTB as an animation
package...this particular opinion is not from me, it is from an animator
that I work with who used Maya for years before working with Softimage. He
used to love Maya; now he is compiling a list of what is most blatantly
wrong with Maya's animation tools. Hopefully the Maya team will listen when
it is presented to them but I digress.

This list still has a high signal to noise ratio, please stay a while and
share your experiences with C4D and HE.

Cheers,
-=Eric
