that year was one of my most favorite siggraphs! the night of that party was my birthday, so my old roommate (female) went up to the stage while vanilla ice was performing and asked if her roommate could come up on stage and it was their birthday. he must have misheard her say 'his birthday' and said 'sure, bring her up!' and my roommate says hesitantly, 'it's a guy' and he grumbled. i actually wasn't at all interested in going up on stage, this made it just that much easier to dissuade my roommate.
