Hi Folks, If we're using a scene which references an Alembic cache, all is fine - you can scrub the timeline and the scene keeps up.
But, if someone else tries to access the same cache it runs slow for both machines, very slow. If one of the machines releases the cache, the other stays slow. The only way to get the speed back is to close the scene and re-open it. The slowness effects the render too. A 10 second per frame render slows to about a minute. Is this a known limitation or are there any work-around or fixes that anyone knows of!? Thanks for any help! Cheers, D.
