This has been discussed before and I do not claim to have thought of
this originally, but if nobody picks this up, It definitively won't get
done.
Okay, here goes: would it be possible/feasible/desirable to try to
create a sort of "EOL showreel", specifically highlighting works from
the wonderful world of Softimage after the "retirement"?
This obviously can only work given enough participation/contribution by
"all" (read: many) parties involved.
The idea was to get such an "EOL showreel" ready for the first
anniversary of the "retirement", which would give us about six months.
While I am more than willing to somehow coordinate this, should the need
arise, I don't want to be solely responsible for the final product of
this effort,
as my showreel making skills are zero and my judgment asa hobbyist might
not be up to the task either.
So, if this were to go forward, any help setting this up and seeing it
through would be much appreciated.
