This - http://waa.ai/4WdI - seems to suggest, but only for Autocad 2014,that running the setup.exe (and the software itself afterwards) in "compatibility mode" might help. It also suggest the necessity of updating some runtimes, should you be able to install it.
A long shot? Sure, but maybe worth trying anyway.
