So I'm just starting to get in to Maya. I'm just doing some simple stuff
but I want to be able to affect/manipulate the rigs like I did in
Softimage. I would never claim to be a rigger but I always felt comfortable
adjusting rigs as I needed. In Maya I feel like I have no idea what is
going on!? Why are their groups/shapes on everything? Has anyone found a
good resource/tutorial explaining maya rigging? A really good explanation
from a production standpoint and why things are done the way they are as
opposed to just following steps. Can't imagine anyone has written a similar
cheat sheet to Jordi's Softimage to Houdini .pdf's? The constraints in here
are awful...had to say it. ; )
