The Python bindings of the UI widgets is a first step and is going to be worked on more going forward but this means that users can now build their own stand alone applications using Python instead of C++ to use the provided widgets but also their own. Users can also use the canvas.py and CanvasWindow.py files as a template to build their own application completely from the ground up using those files as a template on how to create a Fabric client and interact with it. Referencing the FabricUI repo on github for those wrapped widgets helps and if you're familiar with PySide / PyQt you'll understand them pretty easily. :)
