Unless you have rented licenses, your SI3D license should be permanent and not require any clock adjustments.
Mine copy of SI3D still functions, but there is a limit to how recent you can go with hardware and OS. For example, SI3D will run on Windows 10, but FlexLM licensing won't function on anything newer than Windows XP. Not sure if Autodesk would accommodate granting a newer licensing software to allow operation on modern hardware and OS. If the machine runs, you should be able to install and use the software. Just don't get too down when you remember all the bugs and workarounds you have to deal with ;-) Matt Date: Sat, 13 Aug 2016 18:03:09 -0700 From: Anthor <[email protected]> Subject: Re: Friday Flashback #274 To: [email protected] That video fired me up - I'm going to try to get si3d running again. I have a pair of O2s and an old indy in my basement. I wonder if I can set the clocks back and get the old licenses working... ATR ------ Softimage Mailing List.
