I can drag the kin.local.posy into ice so I get a scalar value for the current frame, but this isn't what I'm after. The mini fcurve editor allows a scalar value input to access the appropriate curve value. I'm not sure about recreating that with the tree I've built around the mini curve editor. It might be simple.
