Sorry, I am probably not putting this correctly.
We can import the ABC file in but when we saved the scene and open it up on another workstation it crashes. It looks like it doesn't remember the path to the ABC file. Is there a way of saving the scene so it is in the project file, like how it works with external files?

Might be a "newer" version of .ABC

Happened to me, yesterday while importing a 2017 .fbx file :(

We need a tool to re-convert to older formats tho´.
