No response so far...

I have one v8.1 Lite+Xtall board built with all components mounted on the board
except the board needs a CMOS Si570. A stereo audio cable is attached to the
board as well as DC power leads and a short lenght of antenna coax. Initial
tests of the board show the 5 volt and 3.3 volt supplies come up properly, the
current from a 12 volts power source is right, and the op-amps are at about 2.5
volts DC output as they shoudl be. All indications are that this board should
play properly when a CMOS Si570 is mounted on the board. A 40m/80m BPF module
is built and kits will be supplied for the 160m, 30m/20m/17m, and the
15m/12m/10m BPF modules.

I would like to send this built v8.1 Lite+Xtall to one of the people who put in
an order for a v8.1 and who already has a CMOS Si570 to mount on the board. If
none of the v8.1 kit buyers would like to have this built unt, then the unit is
available to the first person who has a CMOS Si570 and would like to have the
board at a price of $30. The price includes USPS priority mail to a US address
and the unit can go in the mail on Monday, May 5.

Thanks and 73,
Tony KB9YIG

  Subject: [softrock40] Built v8.1 Lite+Xtall board

  Good Afternoon All,

I have a nearly built example of the v8.1 Lite+Xtall board that will be
completed this weekend along with the the 80m/40m BPF module. (The
v8.1 has synchronous clocking of the QSD circuit and is the model that
Mike Collins reported on a few weeks ago.) This built example still
needs a CMOS Si570 device to complete the kit but will have attached
  cables.

If anyone has ordered a v8.1 Lite+Xtall kit and already has a CMOS
Si570 would like to have this built example to fill their kit order,
please let me know. The unit will be mailed on May 5 along with
unbuilt BPF kits for 160m, 30m/20m/17m, and 15m/12m/10m.

  Thanks and 73,
  Tony KB9YIG
