In anticipation of receiving the board, I went over the Bill of Materials that Tony had on the second schematic sheet. A couple of minor discrepancies popped out:
1. There are 4 4.7 uF caps specified in the BOM (C1, C3, C7, and C14. The schematic suggests that C1 and C14 are electrolytic (or otherwise polarity-sensitive), However the BOM says all 4 are ceramic. The board layout suggests that the BOM is correct. 2. Under the capacitor listings, C7 is duplicated (both as a 4.7 uF and a 0.01 uF ceramic), plus there is no C6 listed. However the schematic suggests that one of those C7s (the 0.01 uF) is actually C6. 3. The BOM omits D1. Can't wait to get the kit on board. I'll be doing the LVDS version and, motivated by the excellent work of Leonard Leeper (KC0WOX) in his on-going documentation of the RXTX Build Process, will attempt to do the same for the Lite+Xtal 8.3. 73 de Robby WB5RVZ Resident Nitpicker
