Being away from the group for even a week is a big deal these days. Softrock has evolved once again - it is now into agile frequency control suing several methods with Si570 being the most popular device. Basically the XTAL controlled softrocks are now frequency agile via several control methods. TONY has is currently releasing kits utilizing new technologies with PIC and Programmable XOs for the LITES AND RXTX. There are also other options also. The easiest way to read about this is to go to the FILES section and search with the keyword "KITS". Also search "LYLE" for some interesting variations.
