Hi Vince, Going as low as 7.2 MHz output from the Si570 devices, CMOS and LVDS, works properly.

The release of the LiteXtal v8.3 has definetly rekindled my interest! I have a question regarding the divide by 4 frequency for 160 meters and the v8.3 board. Looking at the specifications for the SI570 I found the following: The SI570 CMOS version shows a Programmable Frequency Range (fo) of 10 Mhz to 160 Mhz and the LVDS version to be 10 Mhz to 945 Mhz. I calculate the lowest divide by 4 frequency avialable to be 2.5 Mhz for both devices. How does the v8.3 work on on 160 meters with outputs of 1.8 and 1.9 Mhz? I might add that the specifications for the SI570 are labeled "Preliminary" and I might be missing something! Or I misunderstand how the v8.3 divide scheme works! Thank You, Vince WB2FYZ
