I would greatly appreciate it if somebody could prepare or point me to a brief summary of the various Softrock or SDR boards that are available. In the most recent digest that I have received there are references to "beagleboard", "WB6HDW board", "v8.3 Lite+Xtall receiver", and "Ozy, Janus, and Atlas", in addition to the various band options available. Which of these boards are currently available, which are obsolete, and which is the board that was pictured in QST last month?
Also what are the trade offs in ordering the LVDS or CMOS versions of the Si570 chip? Thanks and 73 Dan N8FGV
