Hallo Tony, I have 10 pieces of 74ACT74 with the maximum clock frequency of 210 MHz. The one supplied with your v8.3 (74AC74) has a maximum clock frequency of 160 MHz.
If I use the 74ACT74, it should be possible to receive also 50 MHz band. I tried one of this with the board SI570 DWB6 DHW and the flip flop has worked till 220 MHz. Do you think it is possible to use it in your v8.3 Lite+Xtall kit? in this way it should be possible to have a very broadband receiver from 1MHz to 50Mhz. Do you think that I will can have problems?
