Presently I am using one of the older xtal controlled Xtal lite receivers to process the RF from the second IF of a Kenwood TS-520 hybrid(transistors and vacuum tubes). It works very well giving me outstanding receive performance with an old transceiver!
The problem is that the xtal does not allow me to receive the 3395khz IF with the proper dial setting. My Kenwood dial reads about 120khz off. So I ordered the 8.3 Xtal Lite receiver. My question is: any problems changing one of the center frequencies to bring it close to 3395khz center frequency? Dick N3HKN
