It may not be any help to you in France, but I was surprised to see that 
the inexpensive Radio shack audio isolation transformers appear to have 
quite good extended frequency response, though they do roll off rather 
steeply below 300 Hz.  I am only using 96 KHz bandwidth, but across that 
range the noise floor seems to be remarkably level.
