Please send the Resumes to : *va...@openboxsolutions.com* *Please send only matching resumes along with rate and details.* * Requirement Details : ROLE : **Rational Engineer** * *Location : **Bothell, WA.** Duration : 6+ months Requirement Details: * ** *Qualifications:* *Rational Engineer/Senior Analyst – Roles & Responsibilities as a Team Member* - Support end users and project teams in the installation and utilization of Rational ClearCase, ClearQuest, Requisite Pro and Rational Rose. - Participate in the development and support of tool utilization practices that promote asset sharing and re-use, while protecting the integrity of assets and models. - Deploy Rational ClearCase and ClearQuest to all-IT, which includes configuration of the ClearCase software repository, documenting new business requirements/enhancements for ClearQuest; provide end-user training and support (admin/trouble tickets and Red Hat Support), Rational Tools installation support, document process changes/enhancements. - Develop system and supplementary requirements for enhancement and change requests. - Create and execute test plans, cases, and scripts for all changes/enhancements. - Work with development teams to establish software development code management practices partnering with software build and release management teams. - Communicate status and progress to management daily for critical initiatives and weekly for other deliverables. - Attend and participate in weekly team staff meetings. - Attend Rational Tools customer deployment meetings, reviewing customer needs and providing an assessment of the appropriate next steps to meet those needs. - Attend CCB meetings as required with customers and deployment manager, documenting all detailed requirements on behalf of customers. - Ensure all requests for support are logged in the appropriate tracking system and that the status of each request is communicated to the customer, keeping them well-informed of progress. Ensure SLAs are met. - As needed, create Rational Tools release notices/announcements and prepare, format, and edit all content to be published or distributed on behalf of the team (in partnership with IT MaP Process Delivery). - Participate in technical reviews for all Rational Tools artifacts. (Review each artifact for spelling, sentence structure, completeness, adherence to template and standards, etc.) * * *Required Skills* § Two to four years experience using Rational ClearCase, ClearQuest, Requisite Pro and Rational Rose. § Two to four years experience with Rational tool setup/configuration, development, administration, training, and user support. § Two to four years experience with Object Oriented development methodologies, RUP, Use Case modeling (UML). § Must have 2 to 4 years experience with base ClearCase and ClearCase UCM. § Must have 2 to 4 years experience with, IIS, Unix, Sun OS, Apache. § Must have 1-2 years experience with the SDLC process, especially in the area of creating and interpreting business and system requirements, process/workflows, and end-user support documentation. § Must have 2-4 years experience with *all* MS Office tools (including but not limited to) Excel, Visio, Outlook, Project, PowerPoint, and Word. § Must have: 2-3 years experience with RDBMS (relational database management systems), preferably Oracle, but Sybase, SQL Server or other major vendors acceptable. Experience should include SQL and basic DML. § Must have knowledge of ER (Entity Relationship) diagrams and understanding of simple mutli-table select statements through primary keys. § Must have 2-4 years experience with Windows (groups, permissions, etc.). § Must have excellent customer management skills, able to analyze customer needs, offer alternatives, set clear expectations, and negotiate positive outcome. § Must have the ability to prioritize and manage work intake in order to meet deliverables. Must be able to work under continual deadline constraints.
