Sr. Software QA Engineer Looking to hire a Service Tools Test Engineer to join our growing Engineering organization. This position involves the delivery of functional verification tests for our Remote Service Management Solution and other Service Tools which are used to manage the InServ Storage Systems. This will be a combination of manual and automation test suites/framework. Responsibilities include the following: * Writing test plans, creating and executing tests that stress all aspects of the feature set. * Documenting test cases so that they can be executed by team members. * Identifying areas of improvement, and evaluating customer documentation for technical accuracy and coherency. * Maintains documentation of test results to assist in debugging and modification of software. * Analyzes test results to ensure existing functionality and recommends corrective action. Consults with development engineers in resolution of problems. Experience and Skills: * BSEE/CE/CS or equivalent with 5+ years of relevant experience. * Experienced in testing Service Processors, Connection Portal integration or end to end Remote Management Solutions. * Experienced in testing Networking & Security aspects of management systems and applications. Testing Connection Portal Solutions with AAA security model. * Experienced in testing management features on servers, appliances, networking or storage devices. * Experience with Operating System such as Windows and Linux (Fedora) and applications such as Apache Web Server. * Scripting experience in one or more of the following; Unix shell, PERL, TCL, expect. * Hands on experience with computer hardware systems and FRU (Field replaceable Units) * Strong written and oral communication skills with good attention to detail. * Excellent troubleshooting skills especially in networking and security areas. * Good time management, including the ability to work independently, to reprioritize tasks, and to deliver projects on time. * Must be a self starter, motivated and team player willing to contribute in various ways to get the jobs done.
