Description
Join our client's
Portal Team as a valued J2EE Developer. The Portal
Team is responsible for the development and support of all client’s public
facing Web Applications.
This position will afford you the opportunity to work with users,
business analyst, and technical team members to identify, analyze, design,
implement and test, extensive new functions, small features and enhancements to
existing functionality. Additionally, you will contribute to the
significant redesign of the system architecture and functional components as
needed. And will provide level 2 system support as
necessary.
Responsibilities
Assignments may include application
design and development, coding for enhancements and fixes, testing, maintenance
and support.
Qualifications
· Over 5 years of J2EE
development
· Expert in web development,
Java, J2EE and SQL programming
· Skilled in phases of software
development life cycle -- requirements, analysis, design, implementation,
testing, support, etc.
· Highly proficient with at least one
major application server, WebSphere, WebLogic, JBoss, Tomcat,
etc
· Strong experience with one major
database server, Oracle, SQL Server, DB2, MySql
· Guru-Level knowledge of the following
frameworks, Struts, Hibernate, Spring
· Experience with Liferay Portal a
plus
· Strong problem solving
skills
· Good communication
skills
· Ability to work well in
teams
