*Wintel Systems Administrator * *Location: Princeton ,NJ* *Duration: 3 months+ * * * *Position Description: * The candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in *Wintel IT administration*. The candidate should be skilled with current HP hardware technology (C-Class blade systems a plus), Windows Server 2000/2003 installation, configuration, and administration, including an understanding of SAN technology and Wintel configuration of SAN (EMC, PowerPath, partitioning, etc.). The job will require more than basic infrastructure knowledge (AD, Exchange, file servers, etc.), and extend to custom business applications, including basic knowledge of IIS, SQL, Oracle, SharePoint, and Citrix. *Responsibilities include:* 1. Ability to work within a team environment, receiving general instructions from supervisor, yet work without regular supervision. 2. Installation and configuration of the Windows OS on HP equipment in top Tier data center. 3. Provide general technology services to clients by staying current with technology. Insure that all systems and applications are maintained and running current versions of software. 4. Manage multiple projects (timeline) that spread across multiple technical and business disciplines. This includes the ability to work with other project team members outside the candidate's primary team, and provide regular status reports to the primary project leads. 5. Interact with cross-functional teams, including development, system administration, database administration, network engineering and production support staff. 6. General data center support, including power requirements, space planning, and change control. This will be done with other specific teams, including facilities, LAN support, and WAN support. *Qualifications* The candidate must have excellent written and verbal skills with the ability to effectively interface with technical and non-technical staff. Candidate should have developed a style of communication that is professional and affable. The candidate should have specific experience with each of the following technical items: 1. At least 5 years of experience in Wintel IT administration. 2. In-depth knowledge and practical experience in the *Wintel networking concepts, including LAN/WAN technologies (routing), DHCP, DNS, WINS, AD.* 3. The candidate should be skilled with current *HP hardware technology*(C-Class blade systems a plus). 4. *Windows Server 2000/2003 installation, configuration, and administration,* including an understanding of SAN technology and *Wintel configuration of SAN (EMC, PowerPath, partitioning, WWNs, etc.).* 5. *Basic infrastructure knowledge* (AD, Exchange, file servers, IP addresses/subnets/routing, etc.) 6. Ability to install and troubleshoot third-party software. 7. Basic knowledge of *IIS, SQL 2005, Oracle, SharePoint Server Enterprise 2007, and Citrix* 8.
