Sr SQA Engineer Position Description The Sr SQA Engineer has the responsibility of coordinating the activities of test teams to ensure product quality. This position participates in planning product automation strategy as well as contributing to the design, development, and testing of the automation scripts and environments. The position demands good communication both orally and written and good time management skills in order to help meet internal and external project milestones.- Create and maintain test cases, test plans, test metrics, defect metrics; also lead test case reviews.- Ability to work on multiple projects while maintaining test schedules - Execute/perform testing of products/solutions.- Verify defects, ensure defect integrity, quality and technical correctness.- Ensures that work is done at the right organizational level and that team members are recognized for their contribution- Creativity in finding solutions hindering automation- Monitoring of automation runs.- Mentor and provide guidance to less experienced QA engineers. Position Requirements - Experience with multiple platforms, web server/application servers, databases, web technologies, object oriented programming languages.- Experience with automated testing frameworks and tools.- Black box software experience on web based applications with the ability to install and configure databases.- Proven demonstration of having worked in a distributed environment. Position Attributes - 8+ years of Software Quality Engineering experience and a proven track record of delivering high quality commercial enterprise products. - Experience as a Senior QA Engineer for a complex enterprise product. - Strong troubleshooting technical skills knowledge in IT products env - Assertive individual who knows how to help drive Quality Assurance process maturity and is able to clearly communicate goals, decisions and recommendations to other stake holders - Experience working with multi-site teams, including offshore development sites - Hands-on experience with both white box and black box testing, automation, scripting language as Perl, Python , shell - Strong QA leadership, organizational, process skills and overall thorough understanding of SQA methodologies. - Knowledge of enterprise application solution products that provide infrastructure automation for IT such as Data Center Management, Configuration Management, Compliance and Policy Management. - Experience with multiple platforms (Windows, Solaris, Linux, HPUX, AIX), Object-Oriented Programming languages (C, C++, C#), Web Server/Application Servers, Databases (SQL or Oracle required), Performance testing tools (LoadRunner, SilkPerformer), Test tools (Silk Test, QTP, QC,), - Experience to develop automation strategy as well as contribute to the design/ maintenance and testing using automation scripts , monitor, troubleshoot and communicate test automation runs and results. - Experience in Testing Analytical Engines, web server , web technologies is a plus - Good communication both orally and written and good time management skills in order to help meet internal and external project milestones - Work well under stress and handle multiple qa tasks in order to deliver within product schedule Thank you, Team SQAFYI - Software QA Resource FYI http://sqa.fyicenter.com --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Software Quality Assurance Center" group.
