Senior Software Developer/QA testing Responsibilities: • Investigate commercially available GUI testing tools; develop and implement a long term plan for the framework and infrastructure for automated testing of a variety of GUI applications • Deploy the GUI testing system and refine/maintain the system as needed. • Write automation test plans, develop testing strategies & conditions and perform automated testing for various applications • Work with individual QA Engineers to define and achieve release-specific automation goals for each product • Maintain existing tests • Develop automated test harnesses for libraries and utilities • Interact closely with development, product management, and documentation teams Results oriented and capable of meeting predefined goals • Ability to operate independently and work in a fast paced development environment • Commercial success in designing, implementing and deploying automated GUI testing tools in a large scale, mixed Windows/Linux environment • Prior experience in designing and implementing automated regression test suites for enterprise oriented, web based applications • Expertise with Python, Tcl/Tk, Perl, or Shell scripting • Strong engineering and problem solving skills • Excellent oral and written communication skills • 6+ years commercial experience • BS/MS in Computer Science, Engineering, Natural Sciences or Mathematics Additional Desirable Qualifications: • Experience with Squish/QTP/ SilkTest/WinRunner or other commercial tools • Systems level knowledge in operating systems • Good knowledge of C++ and/or Java • Familiarity with SQL • Experience with Software Development Life Cycle management • Familiarity with software configuration management tools like Perforce or Clearcase Thank you, Team SQAFYI - Software QA Resource FYI http://sqa.fyicenter.com --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Software Quality Assurance Center" group.
