QA Software Testing Analyst Responsibilities include: The QA Software Testing Analyst will have responsibility and accountability for performing quality assurance activities related to testing processes and strategy, as well as for contributing to testing process design and improvement. The position will be part of our Quality Assurance group responsible for Regression, Performance, and Functional Level testing for Oracle applications across various tracks/ modules. This position will support an ongoing testing effort that is in line with Business and IT requirements, and will support Business Partner testing efforts through the provision of testing materials, communication of system logic, analysis of defects reported by the business and serving as a liaison between the business and development resources. Position Requirements: Requirements: * Minimum of 2 years experience with all aspects of test execution and recordation utilizing Mercury Quick Test Professional (QTP)/Quality Center and developing test scripts and scenarios for functional testing * Requires High School degree or equivalent; Bachelor’s Degree strongly preferred * Must have a demonstrated knowledge and understanding of how to develop and execute manual and automated test scripts through all levels of testing (Manual, Functional, Integration, User Acceptance and Regression) derived from business and system requirements, how to control regression testing baseline, and how to handle test anomalies without halting the entire regression test * Ability to make valuable contributions to the overall testing strategy, communicate and ensure resolution of non-compliance issues Hands-on experience with VB scripting and writing SQL & simple stored procedures is required * LoadRunner and working knowledge of Oracle ERP functionality is a plus * Must be self motivated and directed with a keen attention to detail * Strong oral and written communication skills required, with ability to quickly establish rapport, credibility, trust, and respect with peers, subordinates and executives Thank you, Team SQAFYI - Software QA Resource FYI http://sqa.fyicenter.com --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Software Quality Assurance Center" group.
