* * * * *Information Architect (Data Architect)* *Location: Pleasanton, CA* *Duration: 6 Months* * * *Essential Skills:* Bachelor's degree required, preferably with emphasis in computer sciences, Information Systems, Engineering, HealthCare or Medical Informatics. At least 8 years of proven hands-on experience *as Data Architect with strong background in Data warehousing* * **Required Skills:* • Metadata standards • Data modeling ERD and Dimensional • Use of modeling tools e.g. Erwin • Data warehousing architecture, physical databases and performance tuning • Oracle • *Metadata Tools like Rochade* Excellent problem resolution and analysis skills. Must be able to present complex data/concepts in a clear, understandable, and meaningful way for reporting to upper management. Strong written and verbal communications skills, including effective meeting management; prepare and present (PowerPoint/Visio); documentation templates for various procedures when needed. Good analytical, written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills. Able to work well as part of a team as well as be self-motivated. Must be open to flexible work schedule to remain in-step with project and organizational needs. This position may require travel up to 15%. *Preferred qualifications:* 1. Healthcare industry technology/standards and emergent technologies preferred. 2. Familiarity with at least one *major EMR/EHR vendor product, e.g. Epic * * *4. Familiarity with *InterSystems Cache DBMS is a plus.* 5. *Clinical Data Model** * 6. Consulting experience is preferred. 8. Experience working in a matrix environment preferred.
