Quality Assurance Position Summary This position is responsible for supporting the design, analysis, testing and/or certification of product offerings. Responsibilities include the creation and execution of test cases for Web, Contact Center and back-end business applications, documenting test results, and assisting business areas in working through functional and user acceptance testing procedures. Position will support the Quality Assurance Engineer with SQA planning for key company projects. Key Duties / Responsibilities Essential duties are identified by asterisks. Developing and reviewing functional and technical specifications with assigned business areas to create test plans and manual test cases. Provide templates and assist the business with estimations for testing functions. ( 30%) Working with the business functions to document test results and track defects. Train business area associates on the proper use of defect tracking tools. ( 30%) Working with the business to identify software product quality certifications. Performing the software quality certification tests prior to product deployment. ( 20%) Working with business areas to review testing status reports and debrief testing results. Assisting with the use of automated defect tracking tools to resolve and debrief test results. ( 20%) Education & Knowledge Required Bachelor's degree in data processing, computer science, or other related field is required. Training in the creation of test plans and test cases. Experience with automated defect tracking software/tools a plus. Software quality testing certifications a plus. Minimum 2-3 years experience in software quality testing for websites, GUI's and back-end systems is required. Experience / Skills / Abilities Required Experience in developing test cases and test plans is required. Experience in testing software applications is required. Excellent written and verbal communications skills are required. Knowledge of defect tracking tools is required. Preferred Skills Quality Assurance experience in an Agile/SCRUM development environment using Microsoft Visual Studio and Team System.
