HP QA resources Admin - Develop and manage the HP Quality Centre tool suite. - Management, maintenance and integration of the tool. - Co-ordinate necessary QA resources to ensure full adoption and utilization of the tool . - Promote use of HP Quality Centre. Knowledge Required: Advanced knowledge of SDLC and project management life cycle. Advanced knowledge of testing and software development practices and methodologies, version control practices and defect management practices. Test Strategy development, Test Planning, Defect Reporting and Test Case design techniques for initiatives with high complexity. Advanced understanding of business workflows and products/applications involved and working with third party service providers. Solid understanding of test project financials management. Contributes to direction for testing methods and tool selection. Manages, coordinates and prioritizes test activities for multiple, increasingly complex projects within/across lines of business. Manages large size teams of testing professionals (typically up to 36 people from both on and off-shore). Establishes effective relationships with different business units, portfolio managers, and project managers Significant resource management responsibilities (includes people mgt.) Skills Required: * HP Quality Centre Administrative experience in the current version. * Knowledge and skill in integrating and controlling changes, upgrades and patches to minimize any risk to deliver by not keeping the tool current. * Highly developed written and verbal communication skills. * Ability to translate abstract quality and management philosophies and concepts into tangible applications.
