QA Intern Responsibilities: * Thoroughly tests software to ensure proper operation and freedom from defects. * Create, Review and Execute manual test scripts and test cases * Track and report software defects and verify resolved issues * Coordinates information with the development and operations to resolve the application setup and configuration issues. Qualifications, Education and Experience: Required: * Computer Science/ Engineering BS/MS Student or completed Diploma/Degree in CS or related field. * Familiarity with HTML, JavaScript and SQL * Familiarity with LAMP environment. * Configuration testing and browser interoperability testing of Web application on various windows platform using different Web browsers, viz. IE, Netscape, Mozilla, Firebox, AOL etc. * Familiarity with QA processes and methodologies and at least one defect tracking system. * Willingness to learn, Self starter and good problem solving capabilities, should able to execute the assigned tasks with minimum supervision. * Ability to work independently and in a team Desired: * Basic HTML, IE, FireFox browsing * User level experience with Mac/Windows * Proficient with MS Word and Excel * Experience of testing podcasting platforms or applications is big plus Education: A BS student in Computer Science or related field is preferred.
