Sr. QA Engineer - Applications Qualifications: · Minimum of 5 years direct software QA experience · Experience testing applications from UI though to the OS component level · Experience testing kernel-hooking technologies such as AV, data leak prevention, end-point firewalls, and host-based intrusion prevention · Track record as a lead QA engineer on a significant product or product component · Experience using tools such as those for profiling, code coverage, resource usage, resource leak detection, packet capture/analysis, load testing, and GUI verification · Some knowledge of networking, OS security, and web technologies · Deep knowledge of the Windows OS and working knowledge of at least one UNIX, Linux, or Macintosh platform · Proficiency in a scripting language, preferably Perl · Excellent communication skills, written and oral · B.S. Computer Science or equivalent engineering or technical degree.
