We are looking for a Biztalk Technical Architect to join our financially strong, growing client in Philadelphia, PA.
This person will design and implement in-house information systems and networked software architectures that support core organizational functions, and assure their high availability. This individual will lead the software development staff as well as design and code complex technical aspects of software solutions. Other responsibilities include assisting the Chief Technical Architect in the evaluation and recommendations of all technologies required to complete those plans - specifically those related to Microsoft .NET technology. Salary ranges up to $105k. No relocation and no visa sponsorship. Requirements: * 10+ years experience in developing strategic systems architecture plans, hands-on experience with business requirements gathering/analysis and experience in systems and network design and development. * Experience with BizTalk a must. * 3+ years experience functioning in a lead technical role on large software development projects. * Experience in setting up new projects in Visual Studio as well as best practices in leveraging VS. * Experience in Agile approach to development, using short development cycles and frequent builds. * College degree in the field of computer science/engineering or information systems. Microsoft certifications a plus. * Candidates must have experience working for a commercial, property and casualty company and have a solid grounding in insurance business and applications.
