The role of the Cisco Security Engineer is to create and maintain an up-to-date and secure infrastructure, throughout a global network. This involves: designing and architecting the security landscape, updating the security appliances, recommending security counter-measures and technologies, and identifying and remedying security gaps. Salary ranges up to $110k with a generous 10-20% bonus. The Cisco Security Engineer has deep experience in: * Hands-on expertise requires and complete understanding of relevant Security concepts. understanding Cisco Security Monitoring, Analysis, and Response System (MARS), Access Control Security (ACS), Cisco ASA Firewall and VPN connectivity, Cisco Content Switching Module (CSM) and the relationship/role each play on a security environment. * Maintaining the current Security Infrastructure, staying up-to-date on latest virus outbreaks and updating appliances, ASA, Routers/Switches and related equipment. * Upgrading Cisco IOS or creating Access Control List (ACL) or other counter-measures recommended by the Security Community or adjusting as necessary to meet the business requirements. * Monitoring of Cisco MARS, ACS, CSM and proactively seek remediation of security breaches, coordinating and leading the effort in correcting any outbreaks and updates required. * Serving as the Point of Contact for network security scans, and leading the effort in corrective actions to fix/update/mitigate the vulnerabilities found during scans. * Cisco certification (CCIE) is a plus If interested and qualified, Apply Online or send a resume to Carla at [email protected] with the job title in the subject line.
