Software QA Intern Responsibilities • Help the lab management team to setup and deploy complex testing environments including extensive use of ESX servers in a Windows and Rehdhat Linux environment. • Develop and execute black box test cases • Take initiative to improve products, tools, and process • Review and help improve product documentation • Work closely with QA peers and developers to resolve issues and reproduce bugs • Install, configure and maintain applications (Outlook, DNS, LDAP, SharePoint, Lotus Notes, etc) for testing Qualifications Requirements: • Actively working towards BS or MS in Computer Science degree or related field • Working knowledge of Windows and Linux systems include system setups and system rollouts • Basic networking knowledge • Manage activities to meet their delivery dates and report accurate, complete status • Outstanding problem- solving and organizational skills Desired Skills • Demonstrable experience using SQL knowledge to write basic queries to insert, update or delete data into or from a database table. • Experience administering Windows and Linux based servers • Previous QA or development experience is deired. • VMware products experience a plus (ESX, Workstation, etc) • Ability to script common tasks in at least one scripting language Thank you, Team SQAFYI - Software QA Resource FYI http://sqa.fyicenter.com --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Software Quality Assurance Center" group.
